From continuity errors and the mixed up or extra words to a name mix up towards the end. This book also had a fair amount of editing errors. I think I'd of rather seen Harper as the other lead. Not that this book is over whelmed by the sex scenes, but Cody sure thinks about it a lot. He just hit a lot of my dislike buttons including he was a little too fixated with sex for my taste. He was just a character I just couldn't find myself drawn too. He annoyed me most of the time, and when I wasn't annoyed I was frustrated with him. Chaos we got a pretty good look at and he certainly seems the most fun lol.īut Cody? I just couldn't find myself caring much for him.

The other dragons I can't wait to get to know better. He is everything I love in my dragon fics. I'm assuming we will get to know him in later stories. Seamus is far to confusing at this stage. Who supplies the palace with food and clothing? Not to mention Seamus seems to almost despise his people or at least the nobles. We never meet any workers for want of a better word. For instance we hear the palace dwellers called nobles but there seem to be no other dwellers except the soldiers. A little more world building would be nice. I loved the mystical realm theme, although I certainly didn't understand a thing regarding the palace politics, or exactly what the Fae are. Now Cody has to decide what he's willing to do to keep the man of his dreams.I must admit I'm rather torn on this one. He may even, shockingly enough, love the big guy. He may not be willing to admit it out loud, but Kirit has got under his skin. Kirit's growly possessiveness is starting to wear on his nerves, and the unexpected hostility he encounters at the palace is almost enough to make him give up.īut Cody is stubborn. He's trekked across more terrain than he would care to remember, been summoned to meet a king, and flown on a dragon - not an experience he's willing to repeat anytime soon. Within a week of arriving, Cody is beginning to rethink his impulsive decision.

It takes a little bit of persuasion, but he manages to talk Cody into coming back with him to Faerie. There he finds Cody, and the man is everything he could ever want. Against the advice of all his friends, he heads for the human side of the world. After searching for years for a mate, Kirit decides it's time to try a new approach. Kirit is lonely and he's sick of coming home from the king's assignments to a cold, empty cave.

How far is Cody willing to go to keep his dragon? ‘I cannot wait to sink my teeth into the next one in this series!' ~ Joyfully Jay ‘It gave me a world full of fantasies that were just perfect.' ~ MM Good Book Reviews
